Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL, Flow, validation rules, and Salesforce configuration.
- Own complex features and technical changes from business discovery and technical design through testing, release, and production support.
- Contribute to Salesforce architecture decisions involving object modelling, automation, security and sharing, integrations, and platform design.
- Build and support integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, platform events, and other integration patterns.
- Write maintainable code and automated tests, conduct code reviews, and improve engineering and release practices.
- Troubleshoot production issues, investigate root causes, and improve platform resilience, observability, performance, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with Product, Commercial, Operations, and engineering teams to clarify requirements and communicate technical trade-offs.
- Mentor developers and administrators and contribute to technical documentation and architectural decision-making.
Requirements
- Proven success in a hands-on Salesforce development role delivering and owning complex Salesforce solutions.
- Strong knowledge of Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce configuration, Flow, object modelling, validation rules, security, and sharing.
- Experience contributing to technical design and architecture decisions and integrating Salesforce with external systems.
- Strong understanding of automated testing, code quality, code reviews, Git-based version control, and modern Salesforce development and deployment practices.
- Ability to independently investigate and resolve complex technical or production issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience supporting, mentoring, or providing technical guidance to other developers.
- Good judgment in selecting code versus declarative Salesforce functionality with emphasis on scalability, maintainability, and platform health.
