Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend features and APIs.
- Build reliable, high-performance distributed systems supporting millions of users and developers.
- Contribute to systems for inference, billing, AI tooling, observability, and developer experience.
- Design secure, efficient, and scalable system architectures.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, product, platform, and AI/ML teams on model-as-a-service solutions.
- Write maintainable, documented code and participate in code reviews and technical standards.
- Ship end-to-end features and integrate relevant backend, AI, LLM, and observability technologies into production.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency in Python or another backend language such as Golang, Kotlin, or C#.
- Strong understanding of APIs, databases, caching, messaging systems, and distributed architectures.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, ownership, communication, and collaboration abilities.
- Preferred experience with full-stack development and API or developer ecosystems.
- Preferred experience deploying software to cloud and on-premises environments.
- Preferred experience managing infrastructure with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform.
- Preferred experience with AI/ML engineering and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog.
- Preferred UX and product-centric mindset.
