Base Salary
$224k - $431k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead software activities for NVIDIA deep learning server platforms from design through production.
- Drive system architecture for complex server platforms in a cross-functional environment.
- Partner with application software, libraries, system software, and firmware teams to design complete software solutions.
- Work with major customers to understand requirements and align roadmaps.
- Collaborate with business partners and vendors to shape products for NVIDIA’s needs.
- Develop roadmaps for new technologies and protocols and drive their design and adoption.
- Mentor architects and engineering teams.
- Make key technical decisions involving complex inter-component dependencies.
Requirements
- Deep experience designing scalable and performant server-system architectures, particularly at the software/hardware interface.
- Understanding of HPC or deep learning workloads and accelerated computing platforms.
- Expertise in out-of-band and in-band management architectures.
- Knowledge of server-system architecture and its performance implications for end applications.
- Demonstrable experience implementing a left-shift strategy to reduce program execution risk.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- BS or MS degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of experience in system architecture and design.
