Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Security Champion for an integrated product line and own security issues end-to-end.
  • Investigate, reproduce, prioritize, and validate vulnerabilities from customers, tooling, penetration tests, and researchers.
  • Analyze complex codebases, identify root causes, and implement security fixes where appropriate.
  • Coordinate remediation changes across multiple components or engineering teams.
  • Partner with architects to improve secure design patterns, standards, and architectural guardrails.
  • Build internal tools, automation, and AI-assisted workflows for triage, remediation, testing, and validation.
  • Coach teams on secure development practices and embed AI-led security into engineering workflows.
  • Lead risk-based remediation planning using exploitability analysis.
  • Support customer security reviews, vulnerability disclosure, and coordinated remediation activities.
  • Communicate complex security findings to engineers, product managers, leaders, customers, and researchers.

Requirements

  • Strong software engineering experience with Go, Python, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar languages.
  • Ability to understand, analyze, and debug complex production code and systems.
  • Experience investigating, prioritizing, and validating application security vulnerabilities.
  • Knowledge of secure software development, secure application architecture, and threat modeling.
  • Understanding of OWASP, CWE, CVSS, exploitability analysis, and risk-based remediation.
  • Experience using AI to accelerate investigations and secure software development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and the ability to influence technical decisions and build consensus.
  • Preferred experience serving as a Security Champion or technical security lead.
  • Preferred hands-on experience with SAST, DAST, SCA, dependency analysis, or container security tooling.
  • Preferred experience coordinating penetration tests or vulnerability disclosure programs.
  • Preferred familiarity with OWASP SAMM or similar secure software development maturity models.
  • Preferred experience building internal engineering tools or AI-assisted engineering workflows and supporting customer security reviews.
