Responsibilities
- Support and maintain AWS infrastructure, including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Route 53, and CloudWatch.
- Write and maintain Terraform and Ansible infrastructure-as-code to provision and configure Linux and Windows servers.
- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Git.
- Participate in on-premises-to-AWS migrations and operate workloads on Docker and Kubernetes.
- Use Prometheus and Grafana, troubleshoot issues, document solutions, and suggest improvements.
- Collaborate with senior engineers while developing expertise in AWS, infrastructure-as-code, migrations, and open-source DevOps tooling.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with AWS core services, including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, and CloudWatch, including troubleshooting.
- Practical experience with Terraform, Ansible, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Good Linux skills, Bash or Python scripting experience, and basic Docker knowledge.
- Familiarity with cloud migration approaches and DevOps practices, preferably using open-source and portable solutions.
- Strong communication, problem-solving ability, and willingness to learn in a team.
- Bonus: knowledge of sovereign cloud concepts, data residency, GDPR, and European cloud providers.
- Bonus: Kubernetes, OpenStack, or OpenTofu experience.
- Bonus: Windows automation with Ansible, WinRM, and PowerShell.
