Base Salary
$160k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own Hebbia’s AWS footprint, including multi-account architecture, networking, IAM, and container orchestration.
- Define and manage all infrastructure as code using application-code standards for review, testing, and versioning.
- Manage cloud cost and capacity through growth modeling, right-sizing, and preventive automation.
- Build and own the developer platform, including build pipelines, ephemeral environments, preview environments, and development tooling.
- Improve CI/CD speed and safety while tracking build times and pipeline throughput.
- Harden infrastructure through threat modeling, least-privilege access, secrets management, and automated compliance and audit tooling.
- Architect for scale through multi-region capability, network and account isolation, and enterprise deployment headroom.
- Partner with product engineering to co-design infrastructure and application systems.
- Evaluate and integrate infrastructure technologies that improve scalability, security, or engineering velocity.
Requirements
- 5+ years building and operating cloud infrastructure at a venture-backed startup or top technology firm.
- Deep infrastructure-as-code expertise and experience managing a production estate entirely in code.
- Production-depth AWS experience across networking, IAM, and account architecture.
- Strong command of containerization and orchestration technologies.
- Production-grade proficiency in Python, Go, or a similar scripting or backend language.
- Strong CI/CD expertise and a record of improving developer velocity without sacrificing safety.
- Working knowledge of operating-system and networking concepts, including debugging across infrastructure and application boundaries.
- Experience with infrastructure monitoring and observability tooling and surfacing platform health and cost signals.
- Hands-on experience securing cloud infrastructure for enterprise compliance, including least-privilege IAM, secrets management, hardening, and audit readiness.
- Experience managing cloud cost at scale or building spend-control tooling and guardrails is a strong plus.
