Responsibilities
- Build and test tax applications using AI-powered code development platforms and natural-language prompts.
- Assist with designing, developing, and testing machine learning models for classification, regression, clustering, and recommendation tasks.
- Support data preprocessing, basic dataset analysis, data manipulation, and visualization.
- Work with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to integrate models into production systems.
- Assist with experiments and model evaluations and document results for senior team members.
- Research AI/ML tools and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Complete 90 credits toward a B.A./B.S. degree or have equivalent preparation from an accredited university in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS, or a similar field.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, ideally Python, and familiarity with NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Familiarity with AI-powered code development platforms such as Copilot/GitHub Spark, Manus, or Cursor.
- Foundational knowledge of machine learning concepts, principles, and algorithms.
- Knowledge of data engineering operations, including data extraction and SQL concepts.
- Basic knowledge of data manipulation and visualization tools.
- Travel to assigned client or office locations and reliable transportation are required.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred.
- Preferred qualifications include strong communication and computer skills, Microsoft Excel proficiency, Azure AI Fundamentals or a similar entry-level certification, hybrid-team collaboration, multitasking, and working knowledge of analytics, data management, statistics, accounting, and computer applications.
