
Automotive Software Design Leader

Responsibilities
- Lead and plan software development activities with suppliers.
- Act as the primary software interface between suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Manage resources, project tracking, risks, changes, and software development milestones.
- Coordinate technical discussions and facilitate knowledge transfer between supplier and internal engineering teams.
- Monitor quality standards and compliance with OEM requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement in software development processes and methodologies.
- Ensure successful software delivery for testing and integration.
Requirements
- More than 3 years of proven experience in a software lead role working with Tier1 suppliers or OEMs.
- Experience with requirements management and task management tools, including JIRA.
- Understanding of Functional Safety and ISO 26262, with experience in ASPICE.
- Experience with diagnostics and communication protocols.
- Proven experience managing cross-functional and distributed software teams.
- Strong problem-solving, leadership, stakeholder management, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Experience with automotive braking systems is preferred.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, specialized in electronics, mechatronics, or telecommunications.
- Strong knowledge of C programming standards and coding rules.
- Fluent English; additional languages are an asset.
