Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical expert for new Salesforce project initiatives and participate in application design sessions.
- Plan and implement approved initiatives, including defining scope, creating design specifications, and translating features into programming specifications.
- Develop and maintain technical solutions on the Force.com platform, including API and web service integrations and the NPSP data model.
- Develop project work plans, track status and estimates, and manage projects through completion.
- Communicate requirements and modifications to vendors and Business Technology technical staff.
- Provide leadership and mentoring on Salesforce functionality and best practices.
- Manage Salesforce environments, releases, upgrades, deployments, and application documentation.
- Maintain environment audit trails and update application procedures, standards, user operations, and documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, programming language certification, or equivalent experience.
- Five years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated technical and functional knowledge of Salesforce CRM.
- Proficiency in coding and programming Salesforce core programming languages.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce APIs and REST/SOAP web services.
- Strong experience with Salesforce deployment techniques.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with engineers, developers, business analysts, administrators, vendors, and technical staff.
