Responsibilities
- Build and ship features and services within the team’s architecture.
- Migrate rapidly prototyped applications into production-grade cloud services.
- Own development tasks with some ambiguity and seek clarification to close gaps.
- Participate in code reviews and uphold engineering and operational excellence standards.
- Write, review, and update technical documentation.
- Collaborate across the team to deliver quality work at a steady pace.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in at least one modern language such as Python or Java.
- Comfort working with relational databases, including Postgres.
- Familiarity with version control, code review, and automated testing.
- Strong communication skills for a remote, async-friendly team.
- Preferred: experience with cloud-based services or microservices, relational and non-relational databases, unstructured storage, and React.
- Preferred: familiarity with Python, Java, FastAPI, Spring Boot, React, Postgres, Kubernetes, GCP, and GHA.
- A bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
