Responsibilities
- Partner with Allianz Operating Entities, domain experts, and IT teams to understand business problems and translate them into production AI solutions.
- Reuse and extend Minimum Viable Solutions and AI Building Blocks, creating custom services, integrations, and agents when needed.
- Build and ship solutions across backend, frontend, data/ML, and operations stacks from development through production.
- Address security, compliance, reliability, CI/CD, containerization, and infrastructure as code requirements.
- Document and operationalize solutions while contributing reusable patterns to the central building-block catalogue.
Requirements
- Hands-on software engineering experience with a track record of shipping production code across backend, frontend, data, and operations.
- Experience working in unfamiliar codebases, domains, and partner environments while identifying issues and delivering value.
- Practical experience with cloud-native stacks, DevOps, CI/CD, containers, Kubernetes, testing, observability, and secure coding in regulated settings.
- Working knowledge of Python, APIs, vector databases, LLM and agent frameworks, and modern data/AI stacks.
- Strong collaboration, communication, documentation, and execution skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- Fluency in English.
