Responsibilities
- Develop and implement scalable and performant software solutions.
- Build complex frontend applications focused on UI/UX as part of a cross-functional team.
- Partner with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, and stakeholders to develop and execute technical roadmaps.
- Act as a trusted technical decision-maker balancing short-term and long-term business value.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers and conduct thorough pull request reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of engineering experience on cross-functional teams.
- At least 4 years of experience building complex frontend applications.
- At least 4 years of experience with CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- At least 2 years of experience making technical decisions in a team setting.
- At least 2 years of experience coaching other engineers.
- Preferred experience integrating health-tech systems such as EHRs or EMRs.
- Preferred expertise in at least one server-side web technology, with Python preferred.
- Preferred experience with web frameworks, API design and development, cloud technologies, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Preferred experience building Chromium-based applications and pluggable user interfaces using browser or Windows desktop technologies.
- Must be able to sit for prolonged periods and use computers and keyboards extensively; occasional walking and lifting may be required.
