Base Salary
$200k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and operate Radar’s infrastructure, developer platform, and data systems at approximately 1 billion API calls per day.
- Build highly available systems targeting 99.99% or higher monthly uptime.
- Work with SRE and data teams on self-serve build, test, and deployment infrastructure, observability, data pipelines, and automation.
- Build and support core capabilities including IAM, feature flagging, and application rate limiting.
- Own the internal development platform supporting server, frontend, mobile, and desktop frameworks.
- Integrate safe AI-enabled development practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Enable test automation and developer test coverage across application, data, and infrastructure systems with QA.
- Integrate security and compliance practices from design through deployment.
- Talk with Radar customers and prospects, incorporate their feedback, and help make them successful.
Requirements
- Think of yourself as a generalist engineer rather than being tied to one particular technology stack.
- Be interested in speaking with customers or prospects and helping make them successful.
- Demonstrate deep curiosity, tenacity, and the ability to work through difficult technical problems.
- Former technical co-founder experience is a bonus.
- Experience with a high-throughput, high-growth SaaS application is a bonus.
- Experience with geospatial infrastructure is a bonus.
