Responsibilities
- Develop and support software application infrastructure for new and existing systems.
- Automate application deployments and maintain software repositories.
- Perform application security, scripting, performance monitoring, and third-party software administration.
- Collaborate with software engineers, system administrators, database administrators, security engineers, and test automation engineers.
- Learn and apply tools and development techniques used by the Analytics Division.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
- Candidates without a four-year degree may be considered with several years of relevant experience.
- Some object-oriented software development experience is strongly preferred, including Python, C#, and/or Java; course, class, or project experience is acceptable.
- Experience with SQL, Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, Docker, Kubernetes, PowerShell, and/or SSRS/SSIS is preferred.
- Experience with MLOps tools such as MLFlow, SageMaker, or model deployment pipelines is preferred.
- Candidates must be able to work in Lansing, Michigan and be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
