Responsibilities

  • Develop and support software application infrastructure for new and existing systems.
  • Automate application deployments and maintain software repositories.
  • Perform application security, scripting, performance monitoring, and third-party software administration.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, system administrators, database administrators, security engineers, and test automation engineers.
  • Learn and apply tools and development techniques used by the Analytics Division.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
  • Candidates without a four-year degree may be considered with several years of relevant experience.
  • Some object-oriented software development experience is strongly preferred, including Python, C#, and/or Java; course, class, or project experience is acceptable.
  • Experience with SQL, Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, Docker, Kubernetes, PowerShell, and/or SSRS/SSIS is preferred.
  • Experience with MLOps tools such as MLFlow, SageMaker, or model deployment pipelines is preferred.
  • Candidates must be able to work in Lansing, Michigan and be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
