Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical leader and subject-matter expert for radar digital signal processing software.
- Design, develop, document, test, debug, and optimize complex radar DSP applications and software systems.
- Lead multidisciplinary research and collaborate with systems, hardware, and equipment designers.
- Analyze mission and user needs, resolve system and software problems, and prepare operating instructions and technical documentation.
- Guide the development of compilers, utility programs, and supporting infrastructure for scalable signal-processing workflows.
- Provide mentorship and technical direction through code reviews, design reviews, and coaching.
- Develop and optimize radar signal-processing algorithms and pipelines using DSP engineering toolchains.
- Use GPGPU acceleration, profiling, and optimization to balance CPU and GPU resources for performance-critical workloads.
- Use AI-enabled engineering tools for code explanation, refactoring, and test generation while maintaining engineering accountability.
Requirements
- Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance that is current and within scope at the time of application.
- Proficiency with C++, Java, Python, and CUDA for performance-critical workloads.
- Experience with Linux development environments, RF signal processing, radar DSP concepts, and GPU optimization for real-time or near-real-time processing.
- Experience with NVIDIA MatX or similar high-performance numerical libraries.
- Experience with AI tooling for software development workflows.
- Experience with high-side development processes and secure handling of classified data.
- Ability to explain radar signal processing concepts including Range-Doppler Maps, sparse-array beamforming, loss budgets, system tradeoffs, and distributed-system calibration.
- Strong modern C++ expertise for real-time processing and maintainable high-performance code.
- Deep understanding of GPGPU signal-processing constraints and benefits, with familiarity with cuFFT or cuSignal; MatX experience is preferred.
- Functional familiarity with Matlab and Python for signal-processing prototyping and data analysis.
- Ability to independently drive solutions, influence cross-team designs, defend technical decisions, own system-level DSP architectures, conduct trade studies, and lead implementation of scalable solutions.
