Responsibilities
- Design, implement, monitor, maintain, and optimize SAP’s sovereign cloud system landscape for Germany.
- Set up multi-system landscape architecture and integrations across heterogeneous technologies.
- Provide on-call support for incidents and performance degradations.
- Continuously improve implementation documentation.
- Partner with engineering teams to design and enhance cloud operation processes.
- Support production cloud operations for multitenant solutions in Germany.
Requirements
- Expertise with GitLab, Linux, and SUSE.
- Familiarity with Terraform and Ansible.
- Experience with CI/CD, cloud computing, hyperscaler services, and databases.
- Experience with some of Kubernetes, Helm, Python, and Bash scripting.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently on complex issues and collaborate across time zones.
- Willingness to work in a 24/7 environment with on-call duties and shifts.
- Willingness to undergo a governmental security clearance process.
- Experience operating at least one SAP solution, such as HCM, BTP, or SAC, is optional.
- Beneficial qualifications include HashiCorp Vault, Argo CD, GitOps, and experience building, implementing, or supporting multitenant solutions.
