Responsibilities
- Design, implement, manage, troubleshoot, and optimize Microsoft Azure platform solutions and infrastructure.
- Provision and maintain Azure networking, identity, compute, storage, Kubernetes, serverless, and cloud-native services.
- Deploy and maintain Azure Kubernetes Service clusters, including networking, storage, scaling, and security configurations.
- Deliver Azure solutions using infrastructure-as-code and declarative provisioning practices.
- Support architecture, capacity, performance, resiliency, lifecycle planning, disaster recovery, backup, and high-availability strategies.
- Implement monitoring, logging, observability, automation, and service improvement initiatives.
- Develop Azure documentation, standards, guardrails, and support procedures while contributing to Cloud Center of Excellence initiatives.
- Optimize cloud resources for performance and cost efficiency through rightsizing, autoscaling, and FinOps-aligned practices.
- Collaborate with architects, DevSecOps engineers, software engineers, and stakeholders, and provide guidance to less experienced engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate certification.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert certification.
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator certification or equivalent.
- Extensive experience in cloud engineering or platform engineering roles in enterprise environments.
- Experience supporting hybrid cloud architectures integrating on-premises environments with Azure.
- Experience contributing to enterprise cloud governance and platform standardization initiatives.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
