Responsibilities
- Design, own, and maintain the machine learning infrastructure.
- Drive the roadmap for Akuna’s machine learning infrastructure, tooling, and processes.
- Build and maintain platforms for model development, training, deployment, and monitoring.
- Establish best practices for reproducible ML workflows and production reliability.
- Continuously improve ML infrastructure for scalability and performance.
- Provide technical leadership to engineering and research teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience building and operating machine learning infrastructure in production.
- Hands-on experience with ML infrastructure or data platforms like Databricks or Spark.
- Strong programming skills in Python, C++, or both in Linux environments.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration across teams.
- Demonstrated ownership and ability to define and execute a roadmap.
