Responsibilities
- Maintain and develop ontology import pipelines.
- Support the creation and maintenance of vocabularies and ontologies.
- Develop software to support manual data curation.
- Develop and maintain DataOps automation pipelines.
- Build and work with AWS Batch, Step Functions, and Lambda-based solutions.
- Support customer projects as required.
- Collaborate with Data Science and Ontology teams.
- Improve DataOps processes and tooling.
Requirements
- Experience in Python software development.
- Experience with pytest or unittest and participation in code reviews.
- Proficiency with UNIX and command-line environments.
- Experience using version control systems, ideally GitHub.
- Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience working in production environments.
- Experience with cloud orchestration tools such as Puppet or Terraform.
- Experience in Python GUI development.
- Experience with ontologies or XML.
- Knowledge of compute clusters and workflow management.
- Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills.
