Responsibilities
- Determine and author requirements and verification items for pedestrian detection models.
- Collect and analyze data from existing logs and structured tests to evaluate requirements and identify false-positive clusters.
- Run evaluations and triage results to track performance and release-over-release changes.
- Build and use evaluation frameworks to identify improvement opportunities for Perception teams.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a PhD in a technical field such as Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science.
- Software engineering fundamentals.
- Familiarity with systems engineering and the flow from requirements to tests.
- Preferred experience handling large datasets or queries using SQL or Python and/or automating test flows.
- Preferred understanding of autonomous vehicle stacks, including sensor-to-Perception data pipelines.
- Preferred experience in autonomous vehicles or similar automation fields.
