Responsibilities
- Develop and expand Automat’s core product suite, including Automat Studio and the Agentic Workflow Builder.
- Build interfaces that use computer-use models to automate enterprise workflows.
- Collaborate with the Forward Deployed Team to incorporate customer learnings into the workflow builder and developer toolkit.
- Create intuitive UX interfaces that simplify complex business automation processes for technical and non-technical users.
- Build robust backend infrastructure and services that power enterprise customer workflows at scale.
- Influence engineering practices, product direction, and company culture.
Requirements
- Production experience shipping real-world software features across frontend and backend systems.
- Full-stack fundamentals, including APIs, databases, authentication, and deployment.
- Experience with modern web tools such as Next.js, with willingness to learn and ship using Supabase and Vercel.
- Hands-on experience with AI coding tools such as Cursor, Windsurf, and Claude Code, with disciplined validation of generated output.
- Strong UX instincts and attention to speed, clarity, polish, and intuitive user experiences.
- Clear communication, initiative, ownership, comfort with ambiguity, and willingness to collaborate and receive feedback.
- Interest in AI agents, automation, fast-paced startup environments, and continuous learning.
