Base Salary

$91k - $172k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Implement complex algorithms on FPGAs.
  • Collaborate with algorithm developers to improve algorithm performance on FPGAs.
  • Develop software to control sensors and processing nodes.
  • Configure processing nodes to optimize performance.
  • Participate in laboratory work, including sensor data collection and analysis.
  • Support occasional travel for meetings and data collections.

Requirements

  • RE II requires a bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience or a master's degree; RE III requires a bachelor's degree with 5+ years or a master's degree with 3+ years of related experience.
  • Degree study must be in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics, or a related field.
  • U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance are required.
  • Experience with FPGA programming and embedded computing is required.
  • Experience with C and/or C++ software development is required.
  • Experience with Unix/Linux and multithreaded or parallel computing is required.
  • Strong analytical ability is required.
  • Desired qualifications include digital signal processing theory and implementation, Matlab and/or Python, networking hardware/software/administration, and digital system design basics.
