Responsibilities
- Support the end-to-end AI and machine learning lifecycle, including data acquisition, preprocessing, model design, training, optimization, deployment, monitoring, and evaluation.
- Develop and train deep learning and large-scale machine learning models for natural language processing, computer vision, and generative AI challenges.
- Analyze large semi-structured datasets and perform exploratory data analysis and feature engineering to improve model performance.
- Write production-quality software and participate in system design discussions, code reviews, and testing.
- Research and prototype emerging AI techniques, including explainable AI, federated learning, and multimodal models.
- Collaborate with product managers, data engineers, data scientists, and software engineers to define requirements and deliver AI solutions.
Requirements
- Completed bachelor’s degree in computer science, machine learning, AI engineering, data science, or a related technical field.
- At least 9 completed credit hours of graduate-level coursework in computer science, machine learning, AI engineering, data science, or a related technical field.
- Strong foundation in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis.
- Proficiency in at least one general-purpose programming language, with a strong preference for Python.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Scikit-learn.
- Experience with large-scale datasets and data preprocessing.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience with Git is a plus.
- Must be a US citizen, reside in the United States, be authorized to work in the United States, and perform all work in the United States.
