Base Salary
$80k - $133k/yr
Responsibilities
- Discover customer needs and craft geospatial solutions for the defense industry.
- Configure ArcGIS apps, tools, and information models for industry-specific uses.
- Provide input into product design to improve usability and customer experience.
- Collaborate with customers, software development, business development, and professional services teams to define and develop solutions.
- Draft and review ArcGIS Solutions product briefs, presentations, and documentation.
- Design, author, and execute manual and automated tests for functionality, performance, scalability, and durability; analyze and report results.
- Assess product quality and release readiness and maintain existing ArcGIS Solutions.
- Present and evangelize solutions to internal and external audiences.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional experience in the defense industry and experience applying ArcGIS to industry workflows.
- Ability to document and build GIS workflows.
- Bachelor’s degree in geography or a related field.
- Creative problem-solving and teamwork abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of defense and intelligence workflows is recommended.
- Programming experience with scripting languages such as Python or Arcade is recommended.
- Experience configuring web-based GIS applications is recommended.
- Experience with ArcGIS Pro is recommended.
