Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and evolve critical components of Display Ads serving and auction systems.
- Make architecture decisions and own solutions end to end through production.
- Analyze and optimize application performance, latency, scalability, observability, and service health.
- Investigate production incidents and diagnose problems using metrics.
- Collaborate with Product, Data Science, and Advertising teams to align technical solutions with business metrics.
- Promote engineering best practices, mentor teammates, and propose continuous improvements.
Requirements
- Backend development experience with Java and/or Go and strong software design practices.
- Experience designing systems with high traffic volume, performance, and availability requirements.
- Knowledge of databases, caches, and unit and integration testing strategies.
- Ability to analyze metrics, diagnose problems, and lead technical discussions.
- Demonstrated end-to-end ownership of initiatives through production, business understanding, and mentoring or knowledge sharing.
