Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and support scalable server architectures and AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD workflows and automated deployment pipelines across cloud environments and build platforms.
- Develop backend services, automation scripts, and custom tooling using Python, Go, and C#.
- Participate in technical planning, architectural brainstorming, and cost and complexity estimation.
- Improve engineering productivity, development tooling, workflow bottlenecks, and code quality.
- Share best practices through technical talks and maintain collaborative relationships across engineering teams.
Requirements
- Demonstrated proficiency with Python, Go, and C# for backend services, automation, and custom tooling.
- Hands-on experience provisioning and managing AWS infrastructure with Terraform.
- Experience configuring automated orchestration and build platforms such as Unreal Horde, Jenkins, or TeamCity.
- Strong knowledge of version control systems and workflows including GitHub, Perforce/Helix Core, Git-flow, and branch management.
- Ability to independently manage moderate-to-complex technical tasks, break down deliverables, and communicate status accurately.
- Preferred qualifications include server-side logic and database dependency experience for live or multiplayer services, familiarity with game engines, Docker, Kubernetes, infrastructure monitoring, and infrastructure security best practices.
- Interest or experience in gaming, mentoring junior team members or interns, and conducting technical interviews is preferred.
