Responsibilities

  • Independently design and deliver software features while owning assigned GitLab milestones from start to finish.
  • Integrate TCP/IP communications among software-defined radios, Keysight UXGs, UTAS and modeling systems, and CATS/UMCATS rack components into the TestNet enterprise.
  • Build browser-based threat-simulation, test setup and analysis, and software delivery interfaces that conform to Section 508 requirements.
  • Provide technical support for integrated system evaluation, interface upgrades, sustainment, and issue resolution.
  • Install, configure, and test software in the client laboratory at Aberdeen Proving Ground for client acceptance.
  • Track hours across multiple annual projects and assist with level-of-effort estimates.
  • Architect solutions using open-source software to improve mission, DevSecOps, and software delivery capabilities.
  • Build data pipelines and warehouses for large datasets, analytic visualizations, and mission metrics.
  • Build an anchored chat assistant using open-source LLMs for on-premise hosting and inference.
  • Create, process, and deploy threat signals and transform them into vendor-specific files for hardware testing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical discipline.
  • 4–8 years of relevant professional software engineering experience.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance at the time of application.
  • IA baseline certification equivalent to 8570 IAT II for privileged DEVNET or classified-lab access.
  • Ability to work on-site at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, on a hybrid schedule when classified or laboratory work requires it.
  • Preferred qualifications include CompTIA Security+ CE, Certified Scrum Developer, AWS Certified Developer–Associate, IAAP CPACC or DHS Trusted Tester, and experience with TCP/IP instrument control, Angular accessibility delivery, electronic warfare, software-defined radios, data warehousing, data pipelines, or data science.
  • Preferred technical experience includes Keysight or National Instruments hardware, Section 508 or WCAG 2.1 AA front-end delivery, and RF or scenario-data visualization.
