Base Salary
$108k - $149k/yr
Responsibilities
- Debug complex software products using systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards.
- Perform software tests on code and enhancements with limited supervision.
- Analyze and write test standards and procedures.
- Maintain test-result documentation to support software debugging and modification.
- Analyze test results, recommend corrective action, and consult with development engineers on problem resolution.
- Support software test projects and quality integration for scientific computation, data acquisition, and processing.
Requirements
- Demonstrated conceptual and practical expertise in software quality assurance and basic knowledge of related disciplines.
- Knowledge of best practices and how the role integrates with related areas.
- Ability to solve complex problems, analyze multiple sources of information, and exercise judgment.
- Ability to explain difficult or sensitive information and build consensus.
- Ability to act as a resource for less-experienced colleagues and potentially lead small projects.
