Responsibilities
- Implement and manage infrastructure as code using CloudFormation and Terraform.
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment.
- Use Docker and Kubernetes for scalable and resilient application deployments.
- Develop automation scripts with Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Batch and implement monitoring and alerting.
- Manage configuration with Ansible and enforce configuration standards across environments.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to optimize deployments and transition applications into production.
- Apply security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Set up monitoring and centralized logging to track performance and support troubleshooting.
- Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure and implement cost-saving strategies.
- Develop, maintain, and periodically test disaster recovery plans and procedures.
- Coordinate technical delivery and support with distributed project teams across multiple regions from onboarding through post-launch support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum three years of proven DevOps experience focused on automation and infrastructure management.
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Batch scripting.
- Experience with Jenkins or GitLab CI and version control and artifact repository integrations.
- Experience managing Windows servers and IIS.
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with CloudFormation and Terraform.
- Strong understanding of Ansible and configuration management.
- Experience with AWS cloud platforms.
- Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and complex technical communication skills.
- Preferred certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
- Preferred experience with serverless computing, networking principles, security best practices, Azure, Google Cloud, Rundeck, Grafana, Prometheus, or Loki.
- Understanding of agile development methodologies.
