Responsibilities
- Develop automated tests and extend existing testing tools and frameworks.
- Execute white-box and black-box testing for complex data-driven applications.
- Create and execute test plans and test cases from requirements and user stories.
- Perform UI, API, performance, regression, and functional testing.
- Identify testing gaps and process flaws and implement quality improvements.
- Debug defects, determine root causes, and help design solutions.
- Contribute to DevOps work and improve CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to clarify requirements and support on-time releases.
- Participate in product demonstrations and collaborate across onshore and offshore teams.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience in a software development environment.
- Ability to write automated test code and tools.
- Expertise with UI automation tools such as Cypress and API testing tools such as soapUI or RestAssured.
- Experience with performance testing tools such as Jmeter or K6.
- Experience with test automation frameworks such as Cucumber, Rspec, Fitness, or TestNG.
- Proficiency in an object-oriented language such as Java, C#, or C++.
- Proficiency in a scripting language such as JavaScript, Python, or Ruby.
- Experience with relational databases such as Oracle or MySQL.
- Experience with Agile SDLC practices such as Lean, Scrum, or XP.
- Experience with DevOps tools such as Ansible and Jenkins and continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture and SOA best practices.
- Experience with distributed source code control systems such as Git.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related technical field, or equivalent technical experience.
- Working knowledge of Docker, Linux, and WebLogic is a plus.
- Healthcare domain experience is a plus.
