
2027 Flight Software Engineer Intern
Anduril IndustriesResponsibilities
- Assist with the design and development of flight software algorithms, guidance, navigation, and control systems, or simulation models.
- Integrate and test software and hardware components in laboratory, ground-test, and flight-test environments.
- Analyze simulation and flight-test data to inform system improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve engineering challenges and improve system performance.
- Support the advancement of autonomous UAS and missile technologies.
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in aerospace engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field.
- Returning to school after the internship for at least one quarter or semester.
- U.S. Person status is required to access U.S. export-controlled information or facilities; clearance eligibility may be required depending on the program.
- Ability to complete an in-person 12-week internship at one of the company's offices in summer 2027.
- Preferred qualifications include software development, control theory, or analytical modeling experience, depending on the focus area.
- Preferred experience includes Design-Build-Fly, robotics, or collegiate rocketry teams; aerospace-related projects or hobbies; flight hardware integration; ArduPilot or PX4; serial communication protocols; electrical test equipment; and Python or MATLAB data analysis.
