Base Salary
$320k - $405k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce and custom internal applications, including branching, validation, deployment, and rollback.
- Define and manage agentic, human-in-the-loop, and AI-assisted release lanes, including gates and escalation rules.
- Build the AgentOps layer covering agent scope, tools, permissions, sandboxing, and supervision boundaries.
- Implement distinct pull-request review and business-approval workflows with appropriate evidence and routing.
- Own environment strategy, secrets handling, deployment observability, kill-switches, and rollback mechanics.
- Produce SOX audit trails and evidence for the platform.
- Measure pipeline lead time, failure rate, lane usage, and opportunities for further automation.
- Pair with engineers adopting the platform and improve its defaults based on their feedback.
Requirements
- Experience building and operating a team CI/CD pipeline, including branching, merge gating, and rollback.
- Hands-on Salesforce deployment experience, including Metadata API, source-tracked development, and org-to-org promotion, or comparable enterprise-platform experience.
- Fluency with AI coding tools and agentic workflows, including judgment about automation and human-review boundaries.
- Ability to design for failure cases involving blast radius, sandboxing, permissions, and incorrect automated changes.
- Comfort with GitHub Actions or a comparable CI system, infrastructure as code, and scripting for platform integration.
- Ability to write and defend designs to engineers, business approvers, and auditors.
- Preferred: experience shipping production agents or automation, operating under SOX or similar audit controls, using Gearset, Copado, or sfdx-based pipelines, migrating from manual to governed deployments, and building effective Slack approval or notification workflows.
