Responsibilities

  • Complete a real-world application software project from start to finish with support from a manager and mentor.
  • Develop software using C++ and Windows UI/UX technologies.
  • Use generative AI tools in software development where appropriate.
  • Manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, take ownership of issues, and deliver project results.
  • Present the completed project and its impact to MTS business leaders.
  • Participate in internship networking, professional development, and team activities.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a similar field, with an expected Class of 2028 graduation.
  • Demonstrated technical experience and some proficiency in C++.
  • Some experience with Windows UI/UX development.
  • GPA of 3.0 or above.
  • Experience leveraging generative AI tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude Code in software development.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, accountability, responsiveness, teamwork, and leadership capabilities.
  • Ability to work onsite in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Previous relevant internship or work experience is preferred.
