Base Salary
$230k - $271k/yr
Responsibilities
- Set technical direction for compliance data and control systems and lead large-scale solution design, implementation, and operation.
- Define and deliver multi-year technical roadmaps aligned with regulatory requirements, business growth, and operational scalability.
- Lead complex cross-functional initiatives across Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Operations without relying on reporting-line authority.
- Translate regulatory and policy requirements into testable, traceable, and auditable technical controls.
- Own operational health, monitoring, incident response, remediation, and improvements for systems in the domain.
- Analyze detection outputs and control-performance trends to improve signal quality and operational efficiency.
- Partner with Machine Learning/AI and Platform teams to improve compliance capabilities and monitor production performance.
- Provide hands-on development, architecture guidance, design reviews, technical documentation, and mentorship.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience developing data-intensive systems, including significant technical leadership in compliance data and control systems.
- Deep expertise in compliance data systems and a record of shaping architectural decisions and resolving critical cross-functional issues.
- Experience leading complex technical initiatives from problem definition and design through implementation, rollout, and production operation.
- Experience building reliable data pipelines, data models, and multi-tenant compliance controls or systems at scale.
- Strong practices in data quality, testing, and auditability, plus hands-on implementation, code review, production troubleshooting, and incident leadership skills.
- Ability to evaluate detection or control performance, investigate degradation, and validate improvements to signal quality and effectiveness.
- Ability to influence Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Operations stakeholders without formal authority.
- Strong technical judgment, communication, technical writing, and ability to explain trade-offs to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Ability to use AI tools with sound judgment, including reviewing outputs and protecting sensitive data.
