Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow applications, modules, workflows, Flow Designer flows, playbooks, catalog items, forms, scripts, business rules, and UI policies focused on CSM or FSO.
- Develop and maintain REST and SOAP integrations using Integration Hub and troubleshoot data exchange and integration issues.
- Create custom functionality with JavaScript and customize user experiences with HTML and CSS where applicable.
- Manage data imports, exports, mappings, transformations, validation, migration, and data quality across ServiceNow applications.
- Diagnose application defects, configuration issues, and production incidents; perform unit, integration, regression, and other quality assurance testing.
- Develop and maintain automated tests with the Automated Test Framework and support deployments and post-release validation.
- Create technical documentation and collaborate with product owners, business analysts, architects, QA teams, and developers.
- Provide technical guidance and participate in Agile ceremonies, technical reviews, solution design, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 7–9 years of relevant software development experience, including substantial hands-on ServiceNow experience.
- Mandatory ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification.
- Mandatory hands-on ServiceNow development experience with Customer Service Management or Financial Services Operations.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture, application development, configuration, scripting, and development best practices.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and experience with ServiceNow scripts, business rules, client scripts, and related platform components.
- Knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs, system integrations, and Integration Hub.
- Knowledge of or a relevant micro-certification in Playbooks, Flow Designer, Now Assist or AI capabilities, Platform Analytics, Predictive Intelligence, Service Portal, Service Catalog and Catalog Items, or Automated Test Framework.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Preferred ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or Certified Implementation Specialist certification.
- Preferred experience with React or related front-end technologies, Agile/Scrum, CI/CD pipelines, source control, application deployment, integration testing, automated testing, performance optimization, secure application development, and AI-enabled workflows or analytics in ServiceNow.
