Base Salary
$400k - $700k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own and ship complete product surfaces from database schema and API design through customer-facing product delivery.
- Build and scale payments, transfers, invoicing, bill pay, onboarding, and card management systems.
- Design data models, write migrations, and develop backend services for complex multi-step financial operations.
- Collaborate with product, design, and compliance to deliver correct, compliant, and usable features.
- Shape engineering standards, contribute to architecture decisions, and engage with customers to inform product direction.
Requirements
- Experience shipping and owning entire product surfaces from data model through deployment.
- Strong full-stack engineering skills, including API design, database migrations, backend services, and frontend development.
- Strong product instincts spanning user experience, API ergonomics, and system correctness.
- Ability to work independently and ship quickly in a small team without requiring a full specification.
- Commitment to clean, well-tested software and careful handling of edge cases.
- Financial systems experience or interest in payments, ledgers, and compliance is a bonus.
