Responsibilities
- Build AI agents, workflows, tools, and automations for customer, product, and operations problems.
- Apply LLMs, retrieval, tool calling, evaluations, guardrails, and automation to practical financial workflows.
- Create AI-assisted experiences for onboarding, support, KYC, risk review, CRM, operations, document handling, and product intelligence.
- Partner with product and engineering teams to identify valuable opportunities and improve systems in production.
- Design systems for accuracy, hallucination risk, latency, cost, security, compliance, and user trust.
- Convert manual processes into reliable AI-enabled systems that can scale.
Requirements
- Hands-on engineering experience building AI agents, LLM applications, RAG systems, automation workflows, copilots, or AI-enabled tools.
- Strong coding ability in Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, or a similar practical technology stack.
- Ability to ship working systems, evaluate quality, and improve reliability over time.
- Sound judgment about which processes should and should not be automated.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Experience in fintech, banking, support automation, risk, KYC, fraud, CRM, or operations automation is a strong plus.
- Demonstrated personal contributions to building, shipping, or scaling a serious product, platform, or system.
- Candidates must already be based in Portugal.
