Responsibilities
- Create and support complex database objects, including stored procedures, custom functions, and triggers.
- Tune the performance of database objects, ETL processes, and SSRS reports.
- Design ETL, analysis, reporting, data modeling, and data warehouse solutions.
- Create and support ETL processes using SSIS and SQL Server Jobs.
- Convert legacy reports to modern technologies using the Microsoft BI platform.
- Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time while providing end-to-end problem resolution.
- Develop and maintain an understanding of business needs from both technical and business perspectives.
- Prioritize and execute tasks effectively in a high-pressure environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or computer engineering, or equivalent experience.
- At least 6 years of experience with SQL Server.
- At least 6 years of experience writing T-SQL, stored procedures, views, and functions.
- At least 5 years of experience with the Microsoft BI Stack, including SSIS and SSRS, ETL packages, complex stored procedures, reports, and subscriptions.
- Experience with Power BI is desirable.
- Experience with SSAS dimensions, facts, and cubes is a plus.
- Data modeling and data warehouse design experience is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and version control.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
