Base Salary
$160k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop foundational platform components and frameworks for the Agentic AI platform.
- Create platform solutions that support developers and serve multiple products and engineering teams.
- Build infrastructure supporting machine learning workflows and enterprise AI workloads.
- Develop high-performance systems in Rust and contribute to the platform’s technology stack.
- Provide production support and troubleshoot platform performance, scalability, and operational issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and machine learning engineers on platform requirements and solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5–8+ years of software and platform engineering experience designing and operating large-scale distributed systems.
- Experience building platform infrastructure and backend systems serving multiple products and engineering teams.
- Professional Rust experience, including designing and developing high-performance systems.
- Expertise in database architecture and scalable data systems, including distributed databases, storage and indexing systems, data modeling, schema design, and high-throughput, low-latency data access patterns.
- Experience designing systems that support AI and machine learning workloads.
- Familiarity with workflow engines, execution runtimes, and AI orchestration frameworks.
- US citizenship or a Green Card due to US Government contract requirements.
- Preferred: startup or 0-to-1 product experience, familiarity with Kubernetes, and understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for platform deployment.
- Demonstrated collaboration, technical excellence, learning, and inclusion in technical discussions.
