Responsibilities

  • Lead Agile teams through business application definition, architecture, design, development, testing, delivery, and support.
  • Architect, develop, test, and deploy scalable web applications using .NET Core, REST APIs, and Azure.
  • Provide technical leadership, review code, coordinate releases, manage scope, size work, and mitigate technical risks.
  • Write stored procedures and functions in Azure SQL Database and perform relational database design and T-SQL querying.
  • Partner with Product Owners, architects, integration teams, business leaders, and cross-functional development teams.
  • Maintain and support application systems, troubleshoot issues, and deliver bug fixes and enhancements.
  • Enhance CI/CD processes and Azure DevOps deployment and release management for .NET applications.
  • Lead continuous improvement, Agile practices, technical documentation, and delivery of business value.
  • Coach team members and support their professional and organizational development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • 5–7+ years of Information Technology experience and experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • 3–5+ years of web API experience with Azure and at least 3 years of hands-on advanced development experience with Entity Framework and Dapper.
  • Experience with one or more development platforms or business applications such as Azure .NET, API, Portal Applications, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Salesforce, or Odessa.
  • Experience with front-end frameworks including React, Vue, Angular, and Kendo.
  • Experience with Azure services including Key Vault, App Configuration, Cosmos DB, SQL Database, Application Insights, Front Door, and Active Directory.
  • Experience with Azure CI/CD for .NET applications, Azure DevOps tooling, deployment, and release management.
  • Knowledge of web application security issues such as SQL injection, XSS, and CSRF.
  • Experience with relational database design, T-SQL, database querying, and industry-specific custom applications.
  • Successful IT project delivery and lifecycle management record with demonstrated business results.
  • Experience leading technology teams of 5–15 members and providing technical leadership across business and technical project dimensions.
  • Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, interpersonal, relationship-building, prioritization, and collaboration skills.
