Base Salary
$128k - $209k/yr
Responsibilities
- Monitor and troubleshoot production and QA systems to resolve performance, scalability, and reliability issues.
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation for critical eCommerce platform incidents.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated deployment and software release processes.
- Define, document, and implement operational processes, best practices, and procedures with cross-functional teams.
- Implement and maintain monitoring tools and dashboards for real-time system performance insights.
- Collaborate with developers to fix application bugs and performance bottlenecks.
- Ensure systems and infrastructure meet security, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- Continuously evaluate and improve systems and operational processes.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience in site reliability engineering, DevOps, QA, or a related field.
- Strong experience with Node.js and Next.js solutions.
- Experience with AWS infrastructure and services.
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as CloudFormation and Terraform.
- Experience with CI/CD solutions including GitHub and Azure DevOps.
- Extensive experience with one or more programming languages, preferably Python or JavaScript.
- Solid understanding of networking, load balancing, and web application architectures.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong troubleshooting, critical thinking, communication, performance tuning, software release management, and software reliability management skills.
