Base Salary

$128k - $209k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and troubleshoot production and QA systems to resolve performance, scalability, and reliability issues.
  • Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation for critical eCommerce platform incidents.
  • Design, implement, and maintain automated deployment and software release processes.
  • Define, document, and implement operational processes, best practices, and procedures with cross-functional teams.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring tools and dashboards for real-time system performance insights.
  • Collaborate with developers to fix application bugs and performance bottlenecks.
  • Ensure systems and infrastructure meet security, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve systems and operational processes.

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of experience in site reliability engineering, DevOps, QA, or a related field.
  • Strong experience with Node.js and Next.js solutions.
  • Experience with AWS infrastructure and services.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as CloudFormation and Terraform.
  • Experience with CI/CD solutions including GitHub and Azure DevOps.
  • Extensive experience with one or more programming languages, preferably Python or JavaScript.
  • Solid understanding of networking, load balancing, and web application architectures.
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong troubleshooting, critical thinking, communication, performance tuning, software release management, and software reliability management skills.
