Base Salary
$142k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead machine learning projects and provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers.
- Design and implement scalable, robust, high-performance data-driven systems for content delivery, personalization, and connectivity services.
- Develop and deploy machine learning models, predictive analytics, ML frameworks, tools, and data-driven strategies.
- Design ML infrastructure, scalable data pipelines, and deployment architectures using cloud-based platforms and distributed computing frameworks.
- Monitor and optimize model performance and recommend technical direction to stakeholders.
- Research emerging machine learning technologies, propose innovations, publish technical papers, and submit patents.
- Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, product managers, and internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
- 8+ years of software engineering experience focused on data-driven applications, machine learning, or AI, preferably in aerospace or technology.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or similar programming languages and expertise with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives, collaborate across teams, and drive projects to completion.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities with a passion for innovation and technology.
- Ability to write technical publications is preferred.
