Responsibilities
- Co-lead the technical direction and roadmap for secure and responsible AI Security Products.
- Embed with product teams to design, build, and deploy security controls for consumer, merchant, and Dasher products.
- Build reusable paved-road solutions that enable secure-by-default AI products.
- Develop Hardened Product Agents, AI Guardrails, MCP Gateways, and other AI hardening initiatives.
- Execute cross-brand AI-enabled vulnerability discovery, multi-level harnesses, and automated remediation.
- Design scalable AI-enabled security reviews and threat-modeling processes.
- Translate security and regulatory requirements into practical engineering controls with cross-functional partners.
- Lead root cause analysis for security incidents and develop long-term remediation roadmaps.
- Mentor and coach earlier-career engineers while setting high standards for operational excellence and software engineering.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience as a Security Product Engineer at an internet-scale organization with demonstrated technical leadership at global scale.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Security Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Hands-on experience securing LLM or agentic systems, or adjacent expertise in authorization, sandboxing, or untrusted input handling.
- Demonstrated ability to build security engineering controls and processes in one or more object-oriented languages such as Go or Java.
- Experience designing scalable AI-enabled security review and threat-modeling solutions.
- Exceptional analytical and investigative ability, including leading security-incident root cause analysis.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for influencing engineering and product teams.
- Ability to solve complex systemic problems with rigor, creativity, and sound judgment.
