Base Salary
$150k - $165k/yr
Responsibilities
- Engineer backend services with high quality, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and leadership to define system evolution.
- Engage in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Optimize performance, reliability, and scalability of backend services.
- Investigate and propose ideas to improve user experience.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for systems and processes.
- Participate in on-call rotation and troubleshoot incidents.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in Python/Golang and Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and distributed systems integration.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks like pytest.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical specifications.
- Passion for reliability and operational excellence.
- Ability to scope work and coordinate cross-functionally.
- Experience with software development best practices, including CI/CD and version control.
