Base Salary
$165k - $242k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable security solutions for public cloud environments using guardrails, policies, and industry practices.
- Define and maintain security baselines, policies, and standards for AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Lead the design, implementation, and automation of cloud security controls for IAM, detection and monitoring, configuration management, and data protection.
- Use Terraform and other everything-as-code tools to automate operational work.
- Collaborate with Product Engineering and internal security teams.
Requirements
- At least five years of progressive experience in cloud security architecture and engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Deep understanding of public cloud platforms, including GCP, AWS, and Azure.
- Experience designing, implementing, and automating security controls across cloud environments and the entire stack.
- Proficiency in Go and/or Python.
- Ability to create meaningful technical documentation.
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices and infrastructure-as-code tooling, especially Terraform.
- Preferred: open-source contributions in public cloud security.
- Preferred: experience operationalizing CSPM tooling such as Wiz.
- Preferred: strong understanding of threat modeling and secure design principles.
- Preferred: strong knowledge and experience with modern container orchestration technologies.
