Responsibilities
- Translate stakeholder business requirements into Murex FO and related technology solutions.
- Support Murex FO implementation, configuration, development, delivery, and production or technology support activities.
- Apply software architecture principles, design patterns, reusable components, and maintainable development approaches.
- Lead or support cross-functional technology teams and provide technical guidance, mentorship, and knowledge sharing.
- Drive technology initiatives, project delivery, process improvements, and measurable improvements in solution quality and delivery efficiency.
- Evaluate new technologies and maintain technology roadmaps aligned with business strategy.
- Manage technical dependencies, risks, issues, priorities, decisions, and project deliverables.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts where required.
- Support data, cloud, security, governance, and sustainable technology practices for Murex FO solutions.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in Murex FO technology delivery, implementation, configuration, support, development, or related activities.
- At least 3 years of experience in technology leadership and software development.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent relevant education and professional experience may be considered.
- Knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, databases, data structures, cloud computing, secure development, authentication, authorization, and data protection.
- Experience with Agile development, software development lifecycle processes, project management practices, requirements analysis, and cross-functional delivery.
- Experience translating business requirements into technology solutions and managing projects, risks, dependencies, and delivery priorities.
- Experience with programming or scripting, reusable components, automation, relational or cloud databases, data integration, migration, reconciliation, reporting, or data quality is preferred.
- Experience with cloud deployment, infrastructure automation, containerization, monitoring, continuous integration, continuous delivery, automated testing, release management, and deployment practices is preferred.
- Experience in financial services, capital markets, or another regulated technology environment is preferred.
- Preferred certifications include Agile development, project management, cloud computing, software architecture, or related technology areas.
