Responsibilities
- Build and optimize real-time video streaming pipelines, applications, and communication layers on compute-constrained edge devices.
- Deploy machine learning models to production.
- Optimize the platform runtime, primarily in C++ with portions running on GPU, for maximum performance.
- Build observability and telemetry for the edge-computing platform.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience writing production software in C++ and Python.
- Strong experience with video processing and streaming, including GStreamer.
- Experience building real-time data-processing applications and optimizing latency and memory usage.
- Experience using profiling tools such as gdb, Nsight, Valgrind, and flame graphs.
- Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Edge/IoT computing is preferred.
- Experience with infrastructure management and monitoring using Salt and Grafana is preferred.
- Experience interfacing with ML models using PyTorch is preferred.
- Strong resilience, written and verbal English communication, and ability to influence at all levels.
- Ability to work onsite.
