Responsibilities
- Work with clients and internal teams to assess requirements and develop FICO technical solutions.
- Install and integrate FICO predictive software products for loan origination and fraud systems.
- Design, develop, test, and performance-tune analytics-based decisioning software using Blaze Advisor.
- Design scalable, reusable architectures and estimate infrastructure sizing for horizontal and vertical scaling.
- Develop Java EE applications and Java XML SOAP and RESTful web services.
- Contribute to architecture, implementation, builds, unit testing, code reviews, system testing, defect fixes, documentation, and process improvements.
- Mentor engineers, FICO interns, and strategic global partners in functional and technical topics.
- Travel domestically and internationally up to 10% of the time.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Systems Science, or a related field.
- At least three years of related experience gained after completion of a bachelor’s degree program.
- Experience designing architecture and implementing technical solutions for large-scale product or enterprise initiatives.
- Practical experience with Java EE, cloud/server technologies, JAX-WS, and JAX-RS.
- Solution consulting experience covering technical infrastructure and software architecture in an external customer-focused environment.
- Experience gathering client business requirements and documenting client-solution architecture.
- Industry experience in loan originations or risk, telecom, and fraud.
- Experience designing, developing, testing, and performance-tuning predictive and prescriptive modeling solutions using Blaze Advisor.
- Experience providing functional and technical mentoring.
- Unrestricted right to work in the United States.
