Base Salary
$75k - $112k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop embedded software in MATLAB Simulink and C for tractor drive-strategy systems.
- Test software in hardware-in-the-loop, software-in-the-loop, and vehicle-in-the-loop environments.
- Collaborate with system engineers and cross-functional teams to design software meeting customer needs.
- Tune vehicle performance to achieve efficiency and productivity goals.
- Analyze and resolve issues identified during laboratory and field testing.
Requirements
- Experience with software product development through practical work, relevant internships, or academic experience.
- Exposure to developing embedded applications using MATLAB Simulink and C.
- Exposure to working on and troubleshooting control systems.
- Demonstrated technical problem-solving ability and strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent related work experience.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with agricultural equipment, model-based software design, system simulation, J1939 and ISO 11783 communication protocols, CAN, LIN, Ethernet, mechanical/electrical/hydraulic systems, continuous integration development, and automated build tools.
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
