Responsibilities
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand requirements and develop test plans.
- Create and execute automated and manual tests for SaaS web applications.
- Develop and maintain JavaScript-based end-to-end test automation scripts and frameworks.
- Design and execute automated API tests.
- Perform performance, load, and stress testing.
- Identify, report, and help resolve software defects.
- Use SQL for backend data validation, test data setup, and results verification.
- Integrate automated tests into continuous integration and deployment processes.
- Use containerized test execution across multiple environments and recommend testing process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 5 years of software development experience focused on testing and test automation for SaaS web applications.
- Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with Cypress, CodeceptJS, or Playwright.
- Experience with Postman, Katalon, or REST Assured for API testing.
- Strong SQL expertise, including complex query writing and optimization.
- Experience with APM and observability tooling for application performance monitoring, logs, and error traces.
- Hands-on experience with Bitbucket Pipelines, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure, or AWS DevOps.
- Experience with Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilot.
- Familiarity with Docker and testing across multiple environments.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Healthcare experience is highly preferred.
